Bike & Build is pedaling to end poverty housing.

Since Bike & Build’s 2002 inception, over the past 7 seasons the organization has donated $2,305,345, built for more than 63,500 hours, pedaled over 4MM miles, and engaged more than 1000 young adults in spreading the word about the affordable housing crisis in America.

The Defy 2 Bike


Hooray! I have officially fundraised at least $1000 (in spite of some doubts, I have indeed)!! Which means... my friend above will soon be broken in by both training at school in Nashville and the terrain from Charleston, SC to Santa Cruz, CA. I'm thrilled to get the real training started!

I want to thank the following people for helping me break the $1000 barrier: Steve & Catherine Lainhart, Dr. Chang, and Councilmember Mark Pierzchala.
