day 3 and 4

47 and 50 mi respectively were the mileages for day 3 (to sumter) and 4 (to newberry) and ... my body feels surprisingly ok except for my knee, travis helped me adjust my cleat so hopefully it will heal in a few days

highs:
~donation magic (= stopping anywhere we can get food donations for the group); kesley, sarah, and i got lots of peaches and corn even our very own martha stewart salad basket from a kind ms. missy at a roadside market and today melissa and i got some boiled peanuts for everyone- its amazing how generous people are after you give them a b&b spiel in a sweaty jersey and chamois (then again its probably because they care about the affordable housing crisis)
~amazing vegan potluck provided by a b&b alum... sigh... if only i could cook like that

low:
~my left knee aching (no worries its getting adequate rest)

having a blast! (let's see how i feel after tomorrow's 70 miler)
