today's 80 miler was awesome and the booty even felt ok. the overcast was a nice change from the blazing sun but later the sun started to muggy up. we are in hamilton, alabama tonight and tommorrow miss-iss-ippi here we come!!!
highlight of today: riding with craigery and meeting a mr. patterson. he is the perfect example of the generousity strangers have for sweaty kids like us (craig, nichole, varun, and megan) he offered us drinks and invited us into his house. he left us with the sweetest quote: "be somebody, don't be a nobody" it is the people we meet on the road that make this trip that much more worthwhile
excited to repeat the sleep, eat, bike routine
